Records, limits, and considered decisions

PropGuard helps you organize manual trading records and understand configured limits. The guidance below explains the app and offers prompts for reflection. Every trading decision and its consequences remain yours.

Set up an accurate starting point

  1. Open Account and enter your starting balance and the exact program you use.
  2. Check the profit target, daily loss allowance, maximum drawdown, and drawdown method against the current firm contract and dashboard.
  3. Review Conditions for descriptive market context. Data and classifications can be delayed, unavailable, or wrong.
  4. Use Journal to record completed trades and your own planned levels.
  5. Use Close day to record the daily P&L total separately. A journal entry does not update your account balance.

Reference profiles are starting points for verification. Programs from the same firm can have different rules, account sizes, and evaluation phases.

Read the remaining buffer carefully

The desk compares manually entered balances and daily results with configured loss allowances. Static drawdown measures a shortfall from the starting balance; trailing drawdown uses the highest recorded balance. These simplified figures do not reproduce every firm's equity or drawdown-floor rules.

A zero daily allowance setting means no separate daily cap is configured. It does not mean unlimited risk. Verify whether your program has a daily loss limit, a pause rule, or another restriction that needs separate tracking.

Scores and warning labels summarize the inputs. They are not probabilities of passing an evaluation, measurements of a trading edge, or permission to trade. PropGuard does not monitor a brokerage account or enforce a loss limit.

Keep daily totals consistent

Close day accepts the total P&L for the current UTC date. Saving another total for the same date replaces the earlier total; it is not an additional trade adjustment. The UTC boundary may differ from your firm's session reset.

Reconcile your records with the firm dashboard, including costs and open-position effects that your manual figures may omit. Correcting a daily result preserves previously recorded peaks conservatively. Firm-specific intraday peaks, floor locks, and payout effects may require calculations outside this app.

Separate plans from realized results

Journal prices are entered by you: executed entry, planned stop, and planned target. Mark completed trades won or lost and add execution notes. These records do not establish realized dollar P&L or position size.

Where the dashboard shows planned R illustrations, it uses the distance to the target relative to the distance to the stop, together with your outcome labels. Those illustrations are not a brokerage equity curve or measured realized returns. A win label does not prove the target was filled.

Useful review prompts: What did my written plan allow? What did I actually do? Were the levels and outcome recorded accurately? What information was missing when I made the decision?

Use suggestions as prompts for review

The default Coach works in your browser. Ask about the daily budget, drawdown, rules, journaling, or discipline. It can explain configured figures and suggest reviewing your plan, checking firm rules, or pausing to reconcile records.

Optional models are configured in Settings. Enabling one sends your message and an active-account risk summary directly to your chosen endpoint. Its operator may charge for requests and process them under its own policies. AI responses are unverified and can contradict the app's intended purpose.

No suggestion supplies a trade entry, position size, stop placement, or promise of recovery. You decide whether, when, and how to trade at your own risk.

Doctrine: the treatise applied to your own numbers

Doctrine reads the geometric edition of The Spinozan Trader into instruments. Survival arithmetic does the recovery requirement of Ax V, the expected losing run of Prop XIV, an approximated probability of touching the floor, and the growth-optimal fraction of Prop XIII. Noise or structure compares a losing run against your own stated edge, using the treatise's own threshold of half again the expected maximum before it calls for investigation. Affects records which affect was present and what cause you named for it, which Prop VII holds is the mechanism that reduces its power. Protocols stores a crisis protocol and a daily routine that you write yourself, and shows the protocol back to you when your own stated trigger is reached.

Every quotation is attributed to the proposition it comes from, and the desk quotes rather than paraphrases. The panels describe your inputs and your records. None of them recommends a size, a direction, an entry, a stop or a target, and none of them can observe your tape. The survival figures assume your stated win rate, payoff ratio and risk are exactly right, which Prop XIII says they are not.

Protect your records

Accounts, journal records and doctrine records stay in this browser's local storage. Export them in Settings before clearing site data or moving devices. Keep the export private. Imports replace the account, journal and doctrine records included in the file. Exports exclude API keys, model connections, and legal acknowledgement.
